Believe it or not, the people in our area are actually open to finding a church home. But how? There’s a lot of fear and confusion about checking out a church. This Sunday, we’re starting a new message series called: The Connection Church Rocks! all about what it takes to make a church really rock it out. We’re not talking about the music, though that’s gonna be rockin’ of course featuring some of the greatest rock songs of all time.
We’re talking about things like this:
Real: People have had enough of phony church people who are playing the game but not living it out. People are looking for a place we’re everybody’s wanted, welcome, and accepted, warts and all. A church where you can be yourself and an environment to encourage you to take next steps in your walk with God.
Others-focused: Every church is a friendly church, but what that usually means is that they’re friendly to themselves. It’s all about reaching out! You realize that the church is the only organization that exists for the sake of the people who aren’t there yet.
Committed: TCC would not be here if it weren’t for the sold-out people who make it happen every week. We stress commitment because it has a great benefit in our lives.
Kid-friendly: Families in our area want a place they don’t have to drag their kids. Where parents have partners to come alongside them in growing kids God’s way. I’ve literally seen kids crying because they don’t want to leave on Sundays.
TCC is the church that the people in our community are looking for, and we’ll be finding out why starting this weekend. The way people will discover it is when we simply invite them to come. Talk it up! Be sure to send out an EVite to your entire contact list. It’s fun, free and easy!
