Wow! We just got back from a date at the Melting Pot in Austin for Pam’s birthday. Delicioscrumdillyumtious!! We started with the spinach artichoke cheese dip with bread, apples, chips, veggies and then moved on to the Athenian salad with red peppers, olives, ham, pepperoni, etc. Then the main course was the Fondue Feast with filet mignon, pork, teriyaki steak, chicken, shrimp, mushrooms, ravioli and more that we cooked ourselves in a Coq Au Vin broth. Then topped off with the yin and yang mix of white and dark chocolate with an unbelievable spread of dessert dippers! Because I made reservations ahead of time, we even had our own private room! It took us about 2 hours but it was one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. We also had a $20 off coupon, which brought the price tag down a bit. I can’t believe it’s taken us 37 years to discover that place. I know where I wanna go for my birthday.
