Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, everything went up a notch! We serve an awesome God who does all things well. This weekend was proof of His power as we continued our new series What the Tech?

People can be very cruel on the internet with what they blast away at people with their derogatory comments, tweets, and posts. Believe it or not, people have actually attacked me and The Connection Church online too. In a moment of transparency, we thought it would be funny to read some of the Mean Tweets that people have posted about us. You can watch the video right here.

This week’s message was about the dark underbelly of our technology. There are many negative symptoms that we deal with today because of our growing dependency on our devices. I talked about those as well as some of the positive steps you can take to be free. Check out the message Check Your Tech for yourself on our site.

Right after our 3 celebration services, we had two of our Connect U classes, Connection 101 and 201. It was exciting to get to talk again about who we are called to be as a church and welcoming 15 new members into our family. To sign up for our next classes or for more info, click here.

Later that afternoon, Club 56, our 5th and 6th grade preteens, went out to see a great movie together, When the Game Stands Tall. They had such a blast that they’ve even set up their own Facebook page to promote what’s happening in this powerful ministry!
