Commuting in Kyle

It’s totally insane! They’re widening FM150 outside of our subdivision, so they’re only letting one lane go through at a time, either east or west, in 2 separate spots. Then when you get to downtown, if you can get across the railroad tracks, they’ve got the mainstreet torn apart and blocked off. So to get to the office you have to go several blocks west to turn back and cut through the neighborhood. I’m praying for the businesses downtown that they’ll survive the beautification project. But if you want to get to the office another way, you go further south to cross over the railroad tracks, unless they’re working on the backed up sewers from all the rain, or the train just happens to be stopped there, which only happens several times a day. Growing Pains I guess, but frustrating nevertheless.
