What is the secret to starting a thriving church? It’s the pastor’s wife. Let’s face it, all other things being equal, having a partner with a "whatever it takes" attitude is the make or break factor. I don’t know of any woman who does it better than my wife, Pam! She’s the blonde beauty on the right in the pic above. From the moment we moved to Kyle, she’s been a driving force behind everything that’s happened at TCC. She opened our home in the early days, she started our kids ministry and didn’t even attend a service at TCC for nearly 2 years. When she started singing with our band, we unleashed our secret weapon! She serves others without hesitation. Her sacrifice is unbelievable. She’s a constant source of encouragement to me and she usually dresses me pretty well. When a lot of teachers would want to take advantage of summer break, she used this time to lead a ladies bible study. And on top of all that, she’s spending this week with our preteens as the girls sponsor. And she’s going to do the same for the kids camp this weekend. She does it all because of her commitment to God and her heart’s desire to see lives changed! I am so proud of her and this church would not be what it is today without the Pam factor. She doesn’t do any of this for the approval or applause of people, but next time you see her, you should tell her how incredible she is.
