Craig talked about the unwritten chapter from his Confessions book: practical atheism. That’s someone who believes God exists, but lives like He doesn’t. In ministry, that’s doing church like He doesn’t exist.

  • Bill Hybels said, "The way I was doing the work of God was destroying the work of God in me."
  • Craig confessed he had become a full-time pastor but a part-time follower of Christ.

Here’s the myths that practical athiests believe:
    1) our effort is better than God’s plan
    2) our private life doesn’t affect our public ministry
    3) we try to please people more than God

I pray that God will disturb us when we’re pleased with ourselves rather than God. When we achieve our dreams because we dream too small. When we arrive safely because we sailed too closely to the shore.

I can’t wait to read his new book Going All The Way on how to prepare for the marriage of a lifetime.
