TCCMVP091513-1We love it when adults serve! But we may love it even more when students serve! At The Connection Church, we have many positions where students not only can serve, but we depend on their passion and talents to make our environments happen each week. Students aren’t the church of tomorrow. They’re the church of today! We believe that they grow faster and deeper when they’re making a difference through service.

All that to say, this week’s MVP is Caleb Castillo. As part of the awesome Castillo family, Caleb comes by his giftedness naturally. He is part of the Wired Warriors Team as our Light Technician and his commitment to creating a visual experience each week is vital to our services. Believe it or not, Caleb is in the 8th grade at Chapa Middle School. He spends many hours each week just to make all the lighting come together.

As you can see in the picture, Caleb even has a hurt thumb that I’m not sure if he got on the job (no, really it’s a football injury) but it didn’t slow him down from serving. Caleb, thanks for all you do! We’re so glad you’re a part of the team!
