My mind is still spinning over all that happened this weekend. Here are the big things that I’m still mulling over:
- God answers prayer. So pray BIG!
- So many people came to The Big Hunt. I thought that if it was nice weather, we’d have more people than we expected, but I could not have imagined the response that we got. I met people from Georgetown, Leander, San Antonio, all over. Some were estimating 5000 people, but I can’t say for sure so we’ll leave it at "really big." I can’t imagine how many people simply drove off after seeing the distance they were going to have to walk to get to the park.
- I loved the way TCCer’s really lived out doing "Whatever It Takes" and making it happen. I saw them expressing God’s love in everything they did. We learned a lot of lessons that we can put into practice for next year!
- I’m glad there wasn’t a coupon for a tv or an Xbox in an egg or else it might have really gotten ugly!
- I was so tired after the hunt and basically kept going until after 11:30 on Saturday night. We also worked in coloring Easter eggs as a family (and read the story of Easter from the Bible).
- Our Celebration services on Sunday morning were amazing. It was the absolute best presentation we’ve had and I’m once again proud of our team. We did miss Jacob who was in Nashville. Our vocalists, Dan, Micah, and Pam sounded great!
- We had 711 people attend at our services, which may be the most that we can physically fit at the Tobias campus, but let’s try to beat it this Sunday!
- 20 people came back home to God and renewed their commitment to Christ!
- There were 35 salvation decisions of people who committed to give their lives to Jesus Christ!

- Now comes the aftermath of all the follow-up. Every person who came on Sunday is a gift from God that we want to honor and be faithful with.
