There’s no better way to celebrate our nation’s birthday in Texas than to spend the day at the NASA/Johnson Space Center in Houston. We’ve never been there before and there was a ton to do. They even took us back to the original mission control room where all the flights to the moon and the rest of the missions from the 60s through the 80s were coordinated. It was a blast (pardon the pun)!

As I thought through how amazing it was to accomplish the huge dream of reaching the moon during the sixties was, its clear that our dreams are generally much too small. If we can develop all that it takes to accomplish that unbelievable task, why is it hard for a group of people who are filled with faith and driven by God’s purpose to reach a city or a region for Christ? The motto at NASA is "Failure is Not An Option." Pretty brash, but look at where it has brought them. When it comes to God’s mission for us, FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION. It’s a Commission, it’s a Command.
