Hannah is Ripping People Off

I guess the jokes on all of us for all the times we made fun of Billy Ray Cyrus. I just checked out the price of concert tickets for Hannah Montana. You won’t believe it. Cheapest seat in the house: $125. Floor seat: $800. My blood is boiling! It’s insane! What in the world costs $800 about that concert? Thousands of preteen girls look up to her, so she picks their pockets in return? This also puts incredible pressure on parents who should know better than to shell out hundreds of dollars for the event. Not to mention the cost of parking and merchandise. This is THE sign of the inequity in our world. I hate to be a party pooper, but millions of people are starving and dying of disease from the lack of basic medical care and American families are flushing their money away on a little girl singing? Maybe we can catch the Miley tour after she’s washed up in a couple of years for a reasonable price. In the meantime, I’m going to give my money to make a difference, rather than fund this unavoidable trainwreck.
