Today is a big day: Makenzie and Bethanie’s birthdays. No, they’re not twins, they were both born on July 21st exactly 2 years apart. And for trivia buffs, here’s the scoop:
When I tell people that my daughter’s were born on the same day, they react with, "That’s so neat."
Then I offer that my brother and I were born on the same day five years apart, and they say, "That’s interesting."
Then I let them know that my mom and dad were born on the same day 2 years apart, and they respond, (Cue Twilight Zone theme) "That’s pretty weird."
So as you see, strangeness runs in my family.
It’s been a great birthday for them, we hope. They’re 8 and 10 today and the most beautiful girls, inside and out (other than their momma) that I’ve ever seen.
