• Sunday we wrapped up/kicked off "Something So Big" with a jumpstart on our commitments. I love the way our church puts their money where their heart is. Our offering was about three times the norm! Way to go TCC!
  • We showed Clint and Sandye’s story on Sunday and then on Monday, they found out that they are going to be able to buy a house in our neighborhood! Another incredible God-thing. By the way, Clint is being deployed to Djibouti, not Iraq.
  • My friend Tim Stevens is writing a book about how churches can harness pop culture to present the Gospel. If you want to get in on choosing a subtitle for it, take the Book Survey.
  • I got to lead out with our SURGE middle school group on Sunday night. They’re great kids. I wish I could do that every week, but I love getting the chance to relive my youth ministry glory days. We had a blast.
  • Heroes just keeps getting better. I loved last night’s episode. SPOILER: Noah Bennet was shot and then restored by someone’s blood. Was it Claire’s or Adam’s? Hmm.
  • I broke the 200 barrier in my weight loss! It’s all downhill from here. About 15 pounds to go. I’m actually sorta enjoying diet sodas now.
  • Did I mention the big announcement from Sunday? We’re moving to the PAC! April 20th is the start date. We’re going to be ramping up over the next few months for the next level of impact. More to come on that. For now, Celebrate good times, COME ON!
  • I’m taking today off to decorate for Christmas. A little early, but I’ve been listening to my over 5 gigs of Christmas music for the past month. I have to start early to get it all in. Pam’s making lasagna for dinner tonight, one of her specialties. I’ll tell you more about our Christmas traditions soon. Time to deck the halls, but don’t hurt your knuckles 🙂
