The more things change the more they stay the same. We live in a time of unprecedented change; in an area of the world where things are transforming faster than ever. Every day, I hear of changes that can break people’s lives to their foundation. How do we stand in the face of the world-shaking changes we’re facing? I’m more convinced than ever of the importance of relationships.

When I hear of a life in trouble or a family falling apart, it amazes me to hear that they are already being loved and taken care of by people in our church who are standing ready to jump into action at the first sign of trouble. This has become the norm for our church family, to show Christ’s love in tangible ways.

I’ve already seen and heard many examples of this today. I wish you could know all the real life stories I get to witness. Believe me when I say, God’s people are at work in practical ways to touch the lives of the broken and the hurting through TCC.
