Spidey In my younger years, I was a huge comic book nerd. Really, you can put a lot of adjectives in front of nerd, and that would describe my childhood. I’ve moved on, but Spider-Man is still one of my heroes. In fact, I remember walking into my high school English class one day, and the teacher reminded us that we were supposed to turn in a paper on one of our heroes. Quickly, I scratched out a page on Spider Man. When the papers were handed back out, I got an A+, which I thought was hilarious since I did it in about 2 minutes. That just shows how great Spider-Man is!

Okay, enough of that silliness. Spider-Man 3 is being released next weekend, and I can’t wait. Since it’s way too early for it to be a part of God On Film this summer, I’m going to do a message using the movie as the theme on May 6th. We’ll be talking about "The Deadly Effects of Revenge." If you want to go see the movie with me on Saturday afternoon, May 5, we’ll meet at Regal Metropolitan 14 in Austin for the 3:50 movie. I highly recommend buying the tickets online way ahead of time, since it’s sure to sell-out. You can buy them on Fandango.

This is one of those times that it would be great to invite a friend along so they can meet some of the TCC peeps and then you can bring them back for our Celebration Service on Sunday.
