Sunday Recap

Here’s the skinny:

• Sundays services had an incredible vibe to them.
• Finally, the holiday madness is over and people were able to make it back. We had 498 people gathered and things just clicked.
• I love January because we see so many new faces every year at this time. I’m not sure why since we didn’t do any major publicity for this series.
• Several people on our team are running the ball forward in a way that I haven’t seen in a while, specifically Bryan. We’ve caught the sense of urgency that says, "The Time Is Now!" And we’re taking the steps to get us ready for the big move.
• Since I didn’t preach, I was able to take in a little more of what was going on than usual.
• Zak absolutely hit a home run yesterday.
• By the end of each service, people responded in a way that showed that God is really working in lives to make big changes.
• This series on dropping our baggage is hitting a nerve in lives and we’re taking steps to do some intentional follow-up through our new Reconnectors Recovery Group.
• Then to top it off, we had a great new members class yesterday.
• I am so pumped about our church right now and can see that things are about to get really exciting, crazy, and I can’t wait!
