The Best Week Yet: Blended

This week’s Celebration Services opened with a Movie Theme Music Montage counting down to the start of what turned out to be a life-impacting hour of worship and practical teaching from God’s Word.

We’re still seeing so many new faces and getting to meet some great people who are making the connection. One of our recent guests wrote to us saying:

“The first thing I noticed was the Presence of God and peace. I felt very welcomed. The atmosphere was almost unbelievable… I’m still in awe. Praise God!”

The music was delivered passionately with some of today’s best worship songs. The set included the song Restored by Chris August which is a touching reminder that God can make a broken family whole when we place Him at the center of our families. This week’s message used the romantic comedy “Blended” to set up the topic of having a successful step-family. Today, there are so many people who are in families like this and the Bible has much to say about how to beat the odds and avoid becoming another statistic. Suffice it to say, God used this message to encourage husbands and wives to recommit to honoring God through their families. You can hear or watch this week’s message right here.

The afternoon wrapped up with a huge Mega Sports Camp team meeting where over 210 volunteers came together to strategize for one of the best weeks of the summer. I am so proud of our church family and their dedication to do whatever it takes to reach out to our community!
