This weekend was another one of those unforgettable times at The Connection Church that included all of the reasons we love getting together for worship and celebration.

The service kicked off with some of our students dancing along to Marshmallow World with a surprise appearance by none other than everyone’s favorite snowman from Frozen, Olaf!

Our worship team delivered a mix of worship songs as well as some songs of the season, including Colbie Caillat’s Happy Christmas. What a great challenge to focus on giving during Christmas. You can listen to the music from this week on this Spotify playlist.

I had a blast presenting the message this week. We all need a boost to our joy level at times, and we discovered just how to do that in the message, Jump Up Your Joy-O-Meter. A huge shout-out to Aaron Simcik for the incredible Joy-o-Meter that he built for us. You can watch the whole message right here. (I dare you to listen and not smile.)

The BEST part of the weekend was the 8 Baptisms we celebrated! God is still at work, changing lives, setting captives free, and saving those who were once far from Him!

We closed out the day by giving our First and Best Offering for The Big Ten. It was so moving, not only to be a part of it, but to see others prayerfully bringing their best to God as an offering of worship! If you want to give toward our mission of changing lives, you can still do so by clicking here.

You can get a glimpse at some of the excitement in the pics below or better yet, come and see for yourself this weekend at Rockin Christmas!
