When you ask me, “Trunk or Treat?” I’ll take the treat every time over the trunk! Trunk or Treat is one of the BIG events we leverage to reach out to our community. This year marked the ninth time we’ve held this event and it gets bigger and better every year! We estimate over 4000 people came out to participate in this safe, family-friendly, free party that I like to call “The Biggest Halloween Party in Hays County.” You may have seen me in my alter ego “Pastor Clean” costume.
We are blessed to have Trey and Jennifer Williams coordinating this massive event! They really know how to make it the best time possible. Our incredibly committed and creative team members provided fun games with tons of candy, our very own Connection Creative Band, bounce houses from Awesome Jumps, photo opportunities with Buda EMS and with classic cars provided by the Buda Gearheads Car Club, door prize giveaways, and more!
I am so proud of the way The Connection Church pulls out all the stops to demonstrate God’s love to people. Many seeds were planted and I look forward to seeing how God is going to use the connections we made last night in people’s lives over the coming months.
