Weekly Rewind: I Work With a Vampire

I’ve got to tell you some of the BIG WINS that happened this week!

• First and foremost: we celebrated 5 BAPTISMS! We’re addicted to Changed Lives!
• I met a family who was with us for the first time who said that in their experience a church either has a great worship band or great preaching, but not both. They said they were concerned when they heard our awesome band… But, then the message delivered too! They had me worried for a minute there 🙂
• I also heard a couple of reports of marriages that have been radically changed over the course of the last few weeks!
• If you got there early, you got to see this video from Kid President. It’s my new favorite song.
• Did you notice that the band actually had no monitor wedges on stage this week? It made for a clean look and will give us better sound in the weeks to come!
• Thanks to Soundwave frontman Jeremy Rodriguez for his passionate delivery of Words by Hawk Nelson.
• If I hit you with one of those yellow balls when I walked out on stage, I apologize (naw, not really).
• This week’s message dealt with how you can love those life-sucking vampires at your job. If you missed it, don’t despair, you can hear it here or on the mobile app.
• After the services on Sunday, 18 preteen students from Club 56 went to see the new movie Grace Unplugged. They gave it 36 thumbs up!
