What an exciting time we’re experiencing right now! Sunday was the second week of our Victorious Secrets series and we are getting to be a part of a wave of momentum like never before in our nearly 10 year history!

If the music felt a little funkier to you, that’s because we were honored to have Josh Gonzales from Salvador sitting in with our band this week!

There were very few dry eyes in the house (even from the dudes) after Aaron Simcik nailed Mark Schultz’s She Was Watching. The powerful lyrics drive home the point that “Faith is never taught. It’s just something that they catch from watching you along the way.”

We had a blast presenting the message with a panel format. I loved getting to talk with my beautiful wife Pam along with Trey and Jennifer Williams! You can watch it right here.

The undeniable highlight of this week though was those who made a commitment through a Purity Ring Ceremony to follow God’s plan in their dating life by waiting until they get married for sex. Here’s the commitment they made:

In light of who God is, what Christ has done for me, and who I am in Him, from this day forward I commit myself to Him in the lifelong pursuit of purity. By His grace, I will continually present myself to Him as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God.

The home and family is the best place for kids to learn about sexuality. If you want more help for talking to your kids about this important topic, check out these resources:
