We didn’t let the Grinch steal our Christmas this Sunday. In fact, it was one of the most fun and powerful services we’ve ever had!

In case you missed it, here are a few highlights:

We have added a Spanish translation option for those who need to hear the service in Spanish. It worked great on Sunday and we’re excited about being able to share God’s Word with people in this way. If you know of someone who would benefit from this, check in with Javier when you arrive.

We had a visit from ol’ Grinchy Claus himself. He hung out in the lobby between services and made an appearance on stage during the Grinch Thriller rap. By the way, we’ll be taking it to the next level at our Rockin’ Christmas services. The Sunday 10:30am service is already full. Be sure to get your tickets at ConnectionChristmas.com

Tor Cavazos shared a powerful story of how God changed her life through our Fuze Student ministry. At Elevate, Tor said, Jesus saved my life and he used our student ministry as an instrument to reach her!

We also showed the Guatemala Update from our trip in November. You can check it out here. We got word that the Agua Zarca village celebrated with a Christmas Party that included good food and gifts for the children that you provided for them. We’ll be showing pictures from the party at our Rockin’ Christmas services this next week.

It was the BIG day to receive our Presence Christmas Offering. I’m so proud of the growth in our generosity as a church family over the last year. We’ll be announcing the total giving at our services on the first Sunday of January, but suffice it to say, we haven’t reached the $50,000 goal yet. So if you haven’t given yet, pray about what God would have you donate. You can find out more and give online right here: Presence Offering Info

The message was all about how to enlarge your heart with passion for God and the people around you. If you missed it, check it out on our FREE mobile app or click here.

Once again, the highlight of the day for me was meeting so many new guests. Way to go, Connectors! Let’s keep it up and make these last weeks of 2013 the best ones!!!
