• I love the momentum and excitement we’re experiencing right now. It was our second week in a row with over 1000 in attendance!
  • One of our senior saints, Charlie, who showed up in full camo this week for Don’t Duck Your Destiny told me an incredible story. She said when she was a little girl, she loved walking into church and hearing the loud organ that announced the presence of God. She said that’s why she loves the loud music at The Connection Church, because it says, “God is here!”
  • Because of your generosity, we were again able to support America’s Mighty Warriors for Gold Star families and Wounded Warriors at Allaso Ranch happening this next week. This year, every family attending is the family of a fallen Navy SEAL who was killed while fighting for our freedom. Many of these families lost their loved one within the last few of years, and there are two families coming who will experience the 1 year anniversary of their SEAL’s death while they are at Allaso Ranch. If you want to give to support this effort, click here.
  • We also collected lots of school supplies for the students in HaysCISD so that every child can start off the school year with everything they need for success.
  • It was an honor to have my brother, Kris, and his family sitting on the front row during the 10:30 service. I’m pretty sure it was the first time he has been able to be in our new location. I’m so proud of him!
  • I got to talk about living a life of bold faith as we looked at David’s victory over Goliath. Check out the message here or on our FREE mobile app.
  • We closed out our services with a classic from Switchfoot: Dare You to Move. I’ll take it one step further, I DOUBLE DOG DARE you to move!!!
  • We intentionally let out of our services a few minutes early so everyone could check out the MinistryLink in the lobby to find a place to serve. Our Team Leaders did a great job helping people connect. If you want to serve on one of our teams, you can find out more info here.
  • Check out the pics below for highlights from Sunday or click here to see them all on our Flickr page.
