Sorry I haven’t posted on the first Sunday at the PAC until now. I’ve been processing it all and meeting to tweak next week. What’d I think about it all?

  • It was an awesome beginning to a new chapter at TCC. The prelude is over, now, IT’S ON!
  • It was kind of a surreal experience for me in some ways. It’s just hard to believe that we’re in that place with so many new opportunities to impact our region for Christ.
  • We made so many changes to our systems that it’s amazing that it all went so smoothly.
  • The new signage and the stage design were absolutely breathtaking. Zak did an unbelievable job and I give him total props for everything visual.
  • I was blown away by the sheer number of committed connectors on our
team who showed up to pull this victory off. They are truly the secret
of our success. Everybody showed up and showed out to see God’s vision
for Day 1 fulfilled. There were too many people to list, but this is
    definitely a team effort.
  • We did one of our favorite things: showing the most recent baptism video. I loved how everyone went nuts for the people who took the plunge.
  • I felt like a rockstar on that stage 🙂 So did our worship team.
  • As people left, the positive vibe of the whole morning was tangible.
  • We had more first time guests than any week in our history, unless you
go back to our first launch Sunday. We got 25 guest cards (most
representing families) and I know of a few who didn’t turn in a card.
  • I also got to follow up with our guests on the phone, which I wish everyone could overhear, but I promise you that people can’t wait to come back this Sunday.
  • We’ve got even more in store for this week. Week 2 and counting. I hope you can make it!
  • I love being a part of what God is doing!
