Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Proverbs 29:18 (KJV)

Then the Lord answered me and said, “Record the vision And inscribe it on tablets, That the one who reads it may run. “For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay. Habakkuk 2:2-3

  1. Without vision, you regress
  2. Vision keeps you young.
  3. You need to wear the restraint of your vision.
  4. Vision is written down.
  5. Vision is clear.
  6. Vision is something you can run with.
  7. Vision has an end in mind.

The only miracle Jesus prayed for twice was for a man to have his vision restored.

Nehemiah 2:18

1. Vision starts with a burden.

Share your burden and God will finance it through people.

2. Vision requires a team effort. Get people on the team where they live.
3. Vision will face ridicule and opposition Nehemiah 4:1

Visionaries have to learn to live life opposed.

4. Vision requires more effort at the halfway point. Nehemiah 4:7-12
5. Vision requires multitasking skills. Neh. 4:17

What you can’t manage, you can’t lead.

6. Vision requires awareness of shortcomings and gaps. Nehemiah 4:19-21

Greatest strength is awareness of weaknesses.

7. Vision requires no compromise. Nehemiah 5

What’s the price of your integrity?

8. Vision requires focus!

Refuse to be distracted!

Nehemiah 6:1-2

Don’t give your enemy attention. Stay on your wall!!! Don’t let success get you off course. Sustain and complete what God has placed in your heart.
