Last Fall, I was in my office one Wednesday afternoon when a high school student strolls in, holds out his hand, and says, “Hi! My name is John Bowen.” It was a strange and memorable moment, but I didn’t realize the significance of that encounter until a few months later. It didn’t take long before John was running the soundboard with our Wired Warriors Team. Soon, he was playing drums with the Worship Team. Recently, he has even stepped up to the mic to sing. John also faithfully serves with our student team for Fuze. He’s also on the drum corps at Hays High School.

So, in addition to being one of the nicest guys you could meet, this week, John Bowen is our Most Valuable Player! Way to go John!
