Tonight is the night that neighbors around the country are encouraged to get out of their homes and into the streets. If you happen to catch this post before this evening, plan on getting outside and meeting your neighbors. It’s sad that today we don’t even know the people who live around us. I’ve been amazed at the power of just getting out and getting to know the people who live on my street. Since moving to Holly Grove, I bet we’ve had 70% of the people on our street stop by TCC and we’ve seen God do some awesome things in people’s lives.
We didn’t do a major push around NNO this year, but my C-group is going down to the Waterleaf pool to cookout and swim. I betcha I’ll also get the chance to get to know some people a little better and extend an invitation to TCC. Go and do likewise.
