I think that’s the way a lot of people think it goes when you become a part of a church family. I can put my name on the church roll, get all the perks, and I don’t even have to jump in. God calls us to totally immerse ourselves in the depths when we become a part of His family. Yes, we get the perks, but it also requires nothing less than total commitment.
