CC_turkeyboxesToday is delivery day for the Turkey Boxes we’ve gathered for families who need extra assistance this Thanksgiving. It was so incredible to see, not only the work that was done over the last month in pulling this effort together, but to see all the Connectors who showed up today to take the food to the families. Even though the weather outside is frightful, the fire in their hearts was evident as people poured in, some with their families, to make the deliveries.

Because of the generosity of our people, we were able to provide Thanksgiving meals, complete with frozen turkeys, stuffing, veggies, dinner rolls and a preparation pan, to 25 families in our local community! It’s such an honor to be a part of a church who puts their faith into action in tangible ways. I want to say Thanks to everyone who had a hand in making this happen. Remember, it’s more than just a meal we’re sharing, it’s the love of God!
