This weekend, we wrapped up the Soul Train series. I’ve never been so sad to be done with a series. I will miss the train onstage and the incredible soul music we’ve enjoyed over the last month. Maybe we can do another train series in 2014: How to Train a Dragon, Thomas the Tank Engine, I’m open to suggestions 🙂

This weekend turned really cold, really fast, and even though we enjoy snuggling up with some warm cocoa, it didn’t keep the Connectors away, and certainly not the first time guests. We had fourteen guest cards turned in which represent multiple people in some cases!

11032132095_42a444cefc_bMidnight Train to Georgia is one of my favorite songs of all time, and Pam delivered a special Connection Church version we called Midnight Train to Glory the best I’ve ever heard it. To top it off, we had our very own sharp looking Pips with some classic choreography!

We also got a sneak peak into this year’s Presence Christmas Offering. I know it’s a huge faith-filled goal for us, but I believe now is the time for us to step up and into all that God has for us to do as a church family! If you want to know more, go here, or to give online, click here.

The message was about how you can feed yourself spiritually from God’s Word. Here’s a link to our Bible Reading Plans that I talked about so you can have a track to run on in your time alone with God. To hear the message, you can go here.

The biggest thing that happened though was of course the 3 baptisms we celebrated. Here’s a video of the celebration! If you’re ready to go public with your faith, you can sign up for our next Baptism Celebration here.
