Rewind_Tape_red

It was the perfect storm this past Sunday: Spring Forward time change weekend, kick-off of Spring Break, and a rainy, nasty morning. But that didn’t stop people from showing up to connect with God at The Connection Church. In fact, with nearly 1000 people present, including 11 first time guest families, we experienced a great time of life-change. Or as Sarah put it: “Church at The Connection Church was AWESOME!!” Simple and to the point.

I must confess, the Phillips weren’t at TCC on Sunday because we took a quick trip to the Galveston/Houston area where we caught the Winter Jam Tour and Kirk Franklin’s Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues. Good times to be sure, but we know we hate to be gone because we know we’re missing out when we’re away from our Connection Church family. We made it back as soon as we could so the girls could be a part of all the fun that’s happening with Fuze Students this week.

The awesome thing about being gone is that our talented, dedicated team is more than able to produce the same kind of environment, week in and week out, so that people have the best opportunity to meet Jesus. I love the fact that Pastor Trey knocks it out of the park every time he steps up to the plate to bring a message! You can check out his message called Coming Clean right here.

So there you have it. We don’t have an off week at The Connection Church and we refuse to surrender or let up even 1 weekend from the mission that God has called us to: Connecting with God, Connecting with People, and Connecting People with God!
