I just picked up tickets for Pam and I to go see the new U2 3D concert experience at the Bob Bullock Museum in Austin. I’ve never had the chance to see them live and this is the next best thing, plus it’s some new kind of technology that should be pretty cool, not to mention it’s a lot cheaper than seeing them in concert. Here’s the description:

U2 3D combines music, performance and technology on bold new terms. You have the best seat in the house — and, even better, you are right there with Bono, The Edge, Larry and Adam as you experience their music. This breakthrough film reflects the band’s longstanding embrace of technology by marrying it with the unique excitement of a live U2 concert, taking viewers on an extraordinary cinematic journey – and into a new dimension far beyond other concert films.

Pam’s parents are in town this weekend, so we have free babysitting! We’re going on Saturday night at 6.

  1. Cole,

I hope you have fun. Remember the arguments we used to get in about U2? You were right and I was wrong. I love their music and their faith even though it is different than mine.
